The Wholesale Operations Department is looking for an Operations Supervisor!
This is a full-time position that is responsible for providing effective leadership, training and motivation to employees in order to achieve operational excellence and meet defined
corporate Quality of Service Measures and Key Performance Indicators. Creates a clean, safe and productive work environment while providing exemplary service to both internal and external customers.
Directly supervises 12-20 employees. Perform shipping/receiving supervisor responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include
training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support the stated customer service objectives relating to order accuracy and quality of service.
Observe procedures to monitor and/or regulate processes, tasks, or activities of employees.
Ensure employees comply with all safety and sanitation rules, regulations, and guidelines; make on the spot correction of unsafe acts and maintain an inspection ready distribution center.
Generate and utilize operational reports through warehouse operations systems such as iWarehouse and Triceps.
Routinely conduct observations of production employees to ensure safety and standard operating procedures are being followed.
Schedule and perform meetings (pre-shift, team and safety meetings).
Support and enforce company policies, procedures, union contract and government regulations.
Coach & train employees on performing job function efficiently.
Conduct post-accident investigations and submit the report to management.
Administer appropriate discipline as needed.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
The individual must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint software.
Appropriate motor vehicle record and valid driver’s license preferred.
